I thought I was good with Cruz, but I'm beginning to doubt him as well. His wife is a Goldman Sachs VP, and that's very worrisome. Is he "owned" by the bankers? It's hard to imagine that he's not at least under their influence. He's also a lawyer (as are most politicians.) I think we should just take it as gospel that lawyers are liars. Practically all of 'em.
Then, we've got Trump - who loved Hillary before he hated her, supported abortion before he opposed it, was a Democrat before he set his sites on being a Republican politician, said his flaming liberal sister should be on the U.S. Supreme Court, donated to Hillary, invited her to his wedding, "generally" opposes gun control (which means he favors it), and hails from New York City.
Those are the Republican front runners? You can't find fiction that's less believable.
I will say this: Trump and Rubio are the only two Republicans who I think can beat Hillary or Sanders. If that's all that matters (it's not for me), then I guess everyone should vote for Trump. I really hate Rubio and will never vote for him. Fortunately, I don't think Rubio is going to get the nomination.
I think the odds are very good that Trump will pick Rubio as his V.P. Rubio does such a good job of covering the areas where Trump is weak. Rubio is young while Trump is old. Rubio is Southern while Trump is Northern. Rubio is latino and Trump is white. If Rubio were just a transgendered lesbian, he'd be perfect!
