Aahhh, WD 40, the quintessential American ....tool.
Have loved it since I was the chief mechanic during college days at the then NYC's most prestigious racing bicycle shop, Conrad's Bike Shop, the days when Tour De France was thought of by most Americans as being a french ...dish. I worked with a chinese kid, a black one, and a puerto rican. That's real NY. We also used WD 40 as an air freshener for the occasional puffs of a certain plant's leaves enjoyed while laboring building and fixing bikes and wheels. It worked great!
Still use it on my bikes, for cleaning grease off bearings and stuff, cleaning chains, etc., as well as on cars, amd ....everything hat needs tender, loving WD 40 care.😍
Never had much use for tape, though, because anything that needs taping is not worth the tape to tape it. You either fix it or not, and it either works, or you have to move on. There is no low ground in my book.
Love that chart, though, as an engineer, it is all about when things ...work. Or not. And sometimes how.
