Having arms is not a fundamental human right greater than the right to have unarmed neighbors.

The Congress is precedent to Article 5 and the 2nd Amendment.

Congress clearly has the power to control the import and export of munitions.

Congress has the power to initiate the amendment of the Constitution.

The idea that an armed citizenry is an effective solution to tyrannical government is a sound bite from a coming Star Wars episode.

The 2nd Amendment has caused the proliferation of guns in the United States. That is a fact.

It is also a fact that when the political tides ebb and flow there is a possibility the American people will limit weaponry and possibly encourage the non-proliferation of weapons. Everybody should know the past. Nobody knows the future.
