hi csl,
Okay, I will look.
For what it is worth, I think the long run solutions involve definitions and frames and reformations. Because what we have at the moment ain't working and will continue forever, unless people demand change.
And frankly, I don't expect to belong to the group that changes its philosophy. We run a secular system. Why would we adopt the kind of theological model from which we evolved away at the cost of much blood?
I was reminded of the problem of pathetic pandering to people of different/primitive beliefs when writing corporate Christmas cards and I was told maybe I should say Happy Holidays rather than Merry Christmas. Thanks, but no. I am no Christian but I celebrate Christmas, wish folks a merry one and am not offended by the tradition. We have a thing called Western culture and I don't plan on abandoning it because there are folks who have immigrated to the West and believe different things.
Anyone that is offended by this sort of thing is the problem. I sound almost Trumpish, but for X's sake, who voted to abandon who we are because about three people and one goat bleated that they were offended? I am offended that they are offended. Merry Christmas, csl!
Rand Paul is not going to win.
