France and England have similar rules but the Islamists imported guns into France somehow. England is lucky that it is an island.
Unfortunately, you cannot dial back the issue of guns in America in any relevant timescale.
So by all means focus on guns if you are fine with nothing happening. Because we both know nothing will.
But meanwhile, encouraging the emergence of reform islam is actually possible in the public square. And if we remove the ocean, the little terrorist fish have no place in which to swim.
Something like 9/11 or Mumbai is likely to be coming America's way from Syria. Different order of magnitude from normal gun crime.
