Report of 'Active Shooter' Near Planned Parenthood in Colorado Springs

Colorado Springs police are responding to a report of an "active shooter" near a Planned Parenthood facility.

The Colorado Springs Fire Department said on Twitter at 11:50 a.m. local time that there was a shooter near the Planned Parenthood building on Centennial Boulevard. The police department warned the area is "not secure."

NBC station KOAA reported that police were staging around the area.

The Colorado Springs Police and El Paso County Sheriff's Office are responding, the Colorado State Patrol said.
