...I think that right now they have the cop on capital murder and being held without bond to keep the protests peaceful (more or less). As it says on the cop shows, Charges can be changed or reduced before court date.
...when I was a cop (two years) I never had my gun out of my holster. I did slap the crap out of a drunk or two so I didn't have to wrestle em and get crap piss and puke all over me puttin em in the paddy wagon and I did smack a few hippies on the shins with my night stick to get em out of the streets but during the time of Kent State, my actions were common. There wasn't video cams everywhere either.
...I think that racism / bigotry is TRIBAL. It is ingrained in human nature to be cautios about the tribe down the street. It's not based in hate, it's based in DISTRUST. Black folks don't trust us and we don't trust them either. I dunno what to do about it.
Liberals are like a "Slinky". Totally useless, but somehow ya can't help but smile when you see one tumble down a flight of stairs!
