Of course all of the evidence needs to be given to a jury before a verdict.

I'm concerned about a capital murder #1 charge as the only option. Some jurors have difficulty convicting a cop of murder #1.

He only took a few seconds to fire the first shot, but continued even when he was down & NO threat. (not that he was a life threatening threat) even shooting him in the back.

...Lord knows Im not trying to tell ya that all oops are good guys and they never screw up. What I am saying is that ya gotta look at the actual evidence and leave the emotion out of it. From the video of the cop shooting this kid in the street I can tell ya it wasn't murder as defined by the law. It appears to be more a case of manslaughter. There wasn't much time for him to premeditate or fill any of the requirements for a murder charge. That does not mean it wasn't murder, what it means is that we haven't seen or heard enough evidence to determine what the appropriate charge should be.

Cops deserve the same legal protections as the rest of society.
