One of my old bosses was Japanese American (born in Los Angeles) and he and his family were interned during the war. He managed to get out, after graduating from high school, by enlisting in the Army where he served in the famous 442nd infantry Regiment in Italy and France where he was wounded twice.

This mayor (Democrat) refers to the internees as "Japanese foreign nationals".. Actually - most of them were American citizens.

Excerpted from "Japanese-American Internment":

"Succumbing to bad advice and popular opinion, President Roosevelt signed an executive order in February 1942 ordering the RELOCATION of all Americans of Japanese ancestry to CONCENTRATION CAMPS in the interior of the United States."

Note that Roosevelt (Democrat) used an executive order. Must be where the Poodle Prez got the idea for creating crap.
