Yes we must take action. I like the Pres's position, wait a while for the whole free world to commit, sinilar to the Libyan invasion. Lead from behind, otherwise the world will be all to happy to watch the U.S. spend it's blood and treasure. Furthermore if war is declared he should advocate to re-enact the draft w/o gender discrimination and deferment only for physical or mental impairment. If we're going to do it, do it fair (republican kids too) and strong as hell. It's high time the militants got their skin in the game!

"First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me."

Pastor Martin Niemöller

I think he is saying that sometimes ignoring the problem isn't enough.

All decent people want to be peaceable and welcoming. But once in a while, you are looking in the face of something wicked and you have to respond.
