Good Afternoon Clo~!

The City of Lights.

Churchill spent much of his youth in Paris.
Imagine Benjamin Franklin planning treason and rebellion before dinner and une jeune femme. These anglo-saxon brothers and sisters of ours who speak the wrong language.

Twice in the last Century Paris was occupied.
The entirety, the essence, the singularity of American and British foreign policy is that Paris will never be occupied again.

Churchill in Ottawa during the darkest period of World War II is still the best warning to tyranny and barbarism.

“We have not journeyed across the centuries, across the oceans, across the mountains, across the prairies, because we are made of sugar candy.”

George Lucas warned us in Star Wars, quite clearly that the battle between good and evil is not a clear one, or an easy one, or one that can be ended without a dozen or so sequels.

One would have to do a whole lot more than slaughtering thousands of innocent people to believe you can attack humanity by homicidal lunacy.

I can not foresee a world where women will raise children to kill each other in the name of god.

Hillary Clinton responded to the deadly terrorist attacks in Paris by saying, “No terrorist attack will ever dim the spirit of the French people or our common commitment to the democratic values we share.”

In a statement, the Democratic frontrunner said, “All our prayers are with the people of France tonight. We must stand side-by-side every step of the way with France and our allies around the world to wage and win the struggle against terrorism and violent extremism. Even in this darkest night, Paris remains the City of Light. No terrorist attack will ever dim the spirit of the French people or our common commitment to the democratic values we share.”

The murder of innocent civilians is not a political football to be tossed around. Clinton was correct. The attacks in Paris were an attack on our common democratic values, which is why the world must stand united against all forms of violent extremism.
