the good news is the drug violence problem isn't universal. but it is a problem. will get back to you on this but right now i am thinking about terrorism.
I agree CF but our pols aren't going to enact sensible gun control. Druggies have them and use them every day, everywhere. If our pols don't take action very soon I to will buy one for protection against home invasion by a druggie robber. I detest guns and haven't shot since my Army days 50 yrs ago. I'm very seriously considering it, it's that bad. My little county of 110k in upstate n.y. has 1 or 2 shootouts/ week. It's nuts. I talked w/ a local police captain the other day and he said "it's all over , you can move but you won't escape." If it isn't in your community, tell me and I'll move.
