Hi Clo!

Just got in.
Listen, it appears to me without knowing for a fact that a certain board owner must have been using some language that he should not have been and consequently got his board taken down, rightfully so, by Bob.

If you know how to get in touch with him, would you let him know I started POPE IV please?

NEW board rules.
NO racial /racist language allowed. Period. I will remove posts that contain language like that if I see it.

Anyway,

Yes, the GOP establishment should be worried.
Most of us that are more libertarian despise the GOP National committee and think that as in the days when America was founded, we should once again have NON-POLITICIANS as President of this country who have the good of the nation at heart, to function like it was designed to, every individual with the right to apply themself and have no limits to what they can achieve. Nobody is accountable for me and I am not accountable for someone else.

Ben Franklin always said that each has the ability to prosper through their own "industry", which means hard work on their own. NOT to take what I have earned and give it to someone else.

That's where charitable giving comes in. If I WANT to donate to some things, I can, but should not be forced nor anyone else. It is my choice.... Individual freedom for all.

SO yes, the GOP establishment should be worried.
I despise Jeb Bush, John Kasich, and numerous others.

So we are in agreement on something political for a change! How about that?

Thanks for the board space also. Much appreciated!

My best,

micro....

Time for GOP panic? Establishment worried Carson or Trump might win

By Philip Rucker and Robert Costa November 12 at 10:07 PM
Less than three months before the kickoff Iowa caucuses, there is growing anxiety bordering on panic among Republican elites about the dominance and durability of Donald Trump and Ben Carson and widespread bewilderment over how to defeat them.

Party leaders and donors fear that nominating either man would have negative ramifications for the GOP ticket up and down the ballot, virtually ensuring a Hillary Rodham Clinton presidency and increasing the odds that the Senate falls into Democratic hands.

The party establishment is paralyzed. Big money is still on the sidelines. No consensus alternative to the outsiders has emerged from the pack of governors and senators running, and there is disagreement about how to prosecute the case against them. Recent focus groups of Trump supporters in Iowa and New Hampshire commissioned by rival campaigns revealed no silver bullet.

In normal times, the way forward would be obvious. The wannabes would launch concerted campaigns, including television attack ads, against the front-runners. But even if the other candidates had a sense of what might work this year, it is unclear whether it would ultimately accrue to their benefit. Trump’s counterpunches have been withering, while Carson’s appeal to the base is spiritual, not merely political. If someone was able to do significant damage to them, there’s no telling to whom their supporters would turn, if anyone.

“The rest of the field is still wishing upon a star that Trump and Carson are going to self-destruct,” said Eric Fehrnstrom, a former adviser to 2012 nominee Mitt Romney. But, he said, “they have to be made to self-destruct. . . . Nothing has happened at this point to dislodge Trump or Carson.”
