It turns out British politics can be as absurd as US politics.
The Sun tabloid newspaper, owned by ... Rupert Murdoch of course ... claimed Jeremy Corbyn, British socialist (make sure to spit out the label), didn't bow in commemoration of the war dead. Wicked, unpatriotic Corbyn!
Except he did. It is documented on video. Okay, it was a shallower bow than the bow of the Conservative leader.
So now the question is, did he bow deeply enough?
What a ridiculous conversation.
Murdoch plays the outrage card to the emotional, dogmatic and poorly educated in every marketplace. In the US, Fox has creating issues out of nothing down to a science. Same with the Sun in the UK.
Not a Corbyn fan, not a socialist (and unlike Sanders, Corbyn really is) but playing the outrage card over and over is just disgusting. Murdoch is a manipulative scoundrel.
