Remember GG also pushing for a gold standard around the time Fox News commentators were pumping Goldline and so many folks became gold bugs? http://www.salon.com/2012/11/29/more_legal_trouble_for_beck_backed_goldline/

Just before the bubble burst. Again.

To me, in its current incarnation, the GOP is intellectually dishonest. Almost every belief they promote has to be laundered through organisations like Fox News to garner adherents. When you fact check, the substance vaporises - whether it's Benghazi or bullion.

I guess I agree with your mush of both. Because in such discussions it is dumb to leave yourself exposed as a crook.

Spot the common denominator.

What is it about the supply side theory that always seems to leave a big mess? Oh. It's that it ignores the demand side. And so it suffers from misdirection, surplus hope and wasted effort.
