21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.
John concludes his writing to the Church to keep IDOLS out of our lives! Keep our eyes upon Jesus! Look full in HIS wonderful face! And the things of earth will grow strangely dim, in the light of HIS GLORY and GRACE!
Are you keeping your thoughts upon HIM or are you chasing after THINGS that have no eternal value?
Have you told someone who was lost about a CHRIST who came to earth for the sole reason of giving them SALVATION and eternal life to be with HIM forever?
Accumulations of wealth and things (stuff) is not eternal riches. Jesus commanded us all to tell others about HIM. THAT is why HE LEFT HIS THRONE and GLORY He had with the FATHER and took upon himself the form and nature of man! He lived as a man and yet he was God. He experienced every single emotion and hurt that we do!
And HE dies a horrible death upon a Roman cross and suffered and Bled and DIED for YOUR SINS and for my sins, and the sins of the entire world and every single person in it then and forever!
Have you told someone, anyone, about the saving grace of the Lord Jesus and that HE wants them to come to HIM so He can forgive them and cleanse them and give them eternal life?
ALL they have to do is ASK him and HE will come in unto them! The faith, simple, of a little child!
Only believe....
WHAT have you done for Christ today?
