Hi CF. "Sometimes you get war because you are so much set on avoiding it. This is also Obama's problem." I agree. Obama is an intellectual who seeks resolution through negociation/compromise because he is confident he will come out on top. He comes off as elitist, even condesending in his demeander which really tics off those he confronts. He obviously avoids war, that would be an absolute last resort and then only w/ partners. I can live w/ that but agree that this perceived "weakness" can be causation. In total, with all he has had to deal with and what he has accomplished, I give him a high grade. Just wish he had been more agressive when he had majorities in both houses. He sought compromise too long causing his agenda to be too compromised.
Sanders his trying to sell idealist delusion. But I like him and Quixotic character and drive.

I think he is a democratic socialist which is a slightly different thing. More like a Scandinavian socialist (note - wealthiest societies in the West so nothing to fret too much about economically).

The CO thing isn't worrying to me in a single instance, but with him it's a pattern. Sometimes a problem is something you have to respond to, regardless of the fact you have to compromise your ideals. Sometimes you get war because you are so much set on avoiding it. This is also Obama's problem. Putin pushes because he thinks Obama won't push back.

I think Sanders believes you can ignore the hard problems by shutting your eyes.

Even so, if it was a choice between Sanders and Trump, I go Sanders. But what a poor set of alternatives that would be.
