You throw a piece of cheese in their box and they go wild, even if the cheese is poisoned and they all can die in the end.
I am amazed at these enclaves of stupid that exist around the country, who are like hornets to a glass of wine or some sweet stuff with some plastic foil on top and a hole they can go through to sample it but can never get out. Their media feed that that and turn them into fodder for the rest of us. We use that in the North East all the time for hornets, and bees, and I guess we can use it for stupid.
