Yes, it ruined their photo ops showing them consoling a fellow persecuted 'Christian' from behind bars. I'll bet their campaigns had wished the judge would have waited a couple of days, at least long enough so that they could have made some hay with video clips and tweeted photos.
BTW, some background information about Kim Davis. Prior to her being elected Clerk of Rowan County, KY, she was the deputy county clerk for 24 years serving under the then elected country clerk of 37 years, who just happened to be her mother. Upon election in 2014, Ms. Davis immediately hired her own son and appointed him her chief deputy (note that in Kentucky elected officials determine the salaries of their department employees).
Sounds like some sort of dynasty there doesn't it...
