Psalms 139, verses 17 -18
17 How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!
18 If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.
How do we hear God's thoughts to us?
1. through reading GOD's WORD HE inspired holy men of old to record for us! We call this The Bible....
2. Through Prayer, seeking HIS presence and listening in silence foe that still, small voice as we come before HIS Throne on bended knees, pleading only the Blood of Jesus and HIS righteousness, as we have NONE on our own. HE GAVE US HIS OWN righteousness when we trusted HIM and ASKED HIM to be OUR SAVIOR.... He wrapped HIS robe of righteousness around us and that is how the FATHER sees us, wrapped in The Son's ROBE! HIS CHILD!
3. Through PRAISE. One thing many believers do not do enough is to PRAISE GOD for ALL HE has done for US! In SONG and gratitude we lift up to HIM a sweet melody of thanksgiving that HE receives and pleases HIM, for HE IS WORTHY. God speaks to us, directs our thoughts and paths, and sometimes controls our thoughts in our dreams.
Open your hearts to HIM and commune often with the Lord, and feed your inner man with the MANNA of HIS WORD daily..
If HIS children are filled with HIS WORD and HIS NOURISHMENT, there is no room left inside for other things!!!!
What blessed truth is found in HIS Divine and Holy Word....
