If you look in the mirror and see that something above 1% of people with beliefs like yours support extremist groups, there's something wrong with your beliefs.

Indeed, if there isn't a peaceful 99.9999% majority in your religion, it wants improving. No one can eradicate the 0.0001% nutter and no religion is responsible for them. He's the one in a million crazy religious fanatic who ends up in gaol where he belongs.

Or as an alternative, I have a fixer-upper land of milk and honey for these people. It is called Syria. Just needs some new folks in charge. Time to clean it up.

Turns out not intervening has its own negative externalities.

Islamic nations. A problem if you invade. A problem if you leave them alone. A problem if there's democracy. A problem if there's theocracy. A problem if there's a dictator. A problem under all circumstance.

Maybe the problem is Islam?
