...these folks were happy in their homeland until ISIS or ISIL came along. The best way for the rest of the world to 'step up' is to go exterminate these organizations from top to bottom.

Canada Denied Asylum for Aylan Kurdi

The family of two Syrian boys found drowned on a Turkish beach Wednesday had a privately sponsored refugee application to Canada declined in June, their father’s sister said. Teema Kurdi told The Ottawa Citizen that the UN won’t register Syrians in Turkey as refugees, and Turkey wouldn’t give them exit visas. “I was trying to sponsor them, and I have my friends and my neighbors who helped me with the bank deposits, but we couldn’t get them out, and that is why they went in the boat. I was even paying rent for them in Turkey, but it is horrible the way they treat Syrians there,” she said.

UPDATE — Citizenship and Immigration Canada says it received no refugee application from the father of drowned boys
