Trumpâ€™s Ex-Wife Once Claimed He Kept Book of Hitler Speeches Near His Bed

An old Vanity Fair piece on Donald Trump and his ex-wife Ivana is getting renewed attention for something odd she once said The Donald has by his bedside.

In the 1990 piece, itâ€™s revealed that Ivana Trump told her lawyer months prior that â€œher husband reads a book of Hitlerâ€™s collected speeches, My New Order, which he keeps in a cabinet by his bed.â€

Marie Brenner, the author of the VF piece, asked Trump about the book for the profile. Trump explained at the time he got it from â€œmy friend Marty Davis from Paramount who gave me a copy of Mein Kampf, and heâ€™s a Jew.â€

Davis independently confirmed he was Trumpâ€™s friend and that he gave Trump a book, but heâ€™s not Jewish and it was My New Order, not Mein Kampf.
