Whether you work full or part time, it has no bearing whatsoever on whether you would qualify for 'welfare' or not.

...not true sportfan. If you work too many hours or make too much money ya lose ya welfare, ya free food and ya free gubmint housing and ya could wind up paying for your own healthcare. Professional mooches are not stupid.

What does 'welfare' have to do with it? That word never appeared once in the entire article nor was there any suggestion that the 6 million people that the article was alluding to were working part time simply because they could somehow get welfare or public assistance. Besides, with the current minimum wage, who's to say that some people working 40 hours a week wouldn't be qualified for some sort of public assistance. Whether you work full or part time, it has no bearing whatsoever on whether you would qualify for 'welfare' or not.
