With Sanchez on the right and Walcott on the left, Arsenal has a scorpion strike duo. They aren't simply wingers. Giroud holds the ball up. Ozil and Cazorla release it forwards to the left or the right of Giroud. Arsenal wing backs have the pace of wingers in Gibbs and Bellerin and they take the outside line. Sanchez and Walcott move towards the middle.
It's a scorpion with Giroud as the head and Sanchez and Walcott as the pincers.
If you think of Barcelona as having the world's best front three and Real Madrid the next best, this Arsenal three may actually be faster than both (at least two of them anyway, and if Welbeck learns to score, the threesome) and it is being fed by two of the most visionary passers in the game. Chelsea also has a potentially scary three of Hazard, Costa and Falcao fed by the brilliant Fabregas.
I think Arsenal is getting close to the very top. Fun season ahead.
