You are rewriting WWII history.

The Turks have done nothing for the west. They are Ottoman assholes. Stop reading Wikipedia. As for WWI they fought with the Germans. They always have and will be German allies.

My grandfather and his family escaped from Greece in a small boat, with 7 kids, across the Aegean to Turkey, in WWII, and were arrested and were about to be given to the Germans when the Brits snatched them the last moment. They eventually made it to Cyprus and North Africa, where he, a captain in the leftovers of the Greek army, and my father 17 years old at the time volunteered were attached to the British army. My father fought in a greek frigate, firing canons.

Don't tell a Greek about history, especially with the Turks and who they are, and how friendly they've been to the West. They haven't done shit for the U.S.

Good Evening ZZ!

You sound like a Greek with a bad Turkish problem.
The last crusade was a few hundred years ago. Time to get over it.
Turkish troops never saw action in WW2. The supporting the Nazi stories is all bullshit. Your facts are wrong.
Turkey and Greece joined NATO in 1952.
Turkey has been a front line Nato ally, supplying the forward bases, and a great deal of the manpower.
Nato is not the Warsaw Pact. Nato allies have political differences.

Turkey has no obligation to the world to bring the homicidal lunacy of ISIS to it's own country.

If we can't stop ISIS it is not Turkey's fault.

Turkey is on the front line.
We are not,
Erdogan thought he could tip toe around the fundamentalists.
He can't.

The Turks are asking for help.
We have no choice but to help.

A hundred years of Greco-Turkish antipathy cannot define the future.

My enemies are not yet my friends.
