Well I made it to Sao Paulo, after a 12 hour non-stop, but uneventful, flight from Los Angeles.
This is a really BIG CITY (the largest in South America, over 20 million residents). While it's technically Winter here, since they're right on the Tropic of Capricorn it's a tropical environment, warm and humid.
Well, I'm off again tomorrow afternoon, this time to Sao Paulo, Brazil to attend a conference at the university there. American Airlines has a non-stop flight from LAX and I'll arrive Sunday morning. The conference starts on Monday and runs thru Thursday with Friday set aside to tour the city and surrounding sites, I fly home next Saturday arriving back in SoCal early Sunday morning. This could very well be my last overseas trip for the company as I'm retiring in January. However, I've still got a lot of trips scheduled for the Fall as I do may annual rounds of regional conferences here in the states, 18 in all, from September thru November.
