Be sure you get a blanket for you night in Gallup. If you were a few weeks later, you could see the Navajo rain dance.

We will be driving down this pass on Sunday afternoon as we come home from our vacation.

Note that we are in Oklahoma City on out second night of the trip home from Michigan. We spent last night in St Louis and will spend tomorrow night in Gallup, NM. This morning we made a stop in Missouri at the Meramec Caverns on Old Route 66. We've always wanted to stop but never did but we had the time this trip (we were there for better than two hours. It was spectacular and well worth the time and money.

Tomorrow morning as we head out, we plan to stop to see the memorial to the victims of the Oklahoma City 1995 bombing.
