Chapter 3 verses 14 - 16
14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
Put on CHARITY! Charity here is the word LOVE. The LOVE of God shown from one believer to another and to lost people is an outward expression of an INNER Transformation of your very being! The Lord HOLY SPIRIT enables us to have that LOVE for others!
Only a believer can have THE PEACE of GOD! THIS perfect peace means that we should not worry about tomorrow because it will take care of itself. HE is in control and leading us. He will not allow us to bear more than we are capable of and often we are being tried and changed more toward the image of GOD by the things we do go through.
Through it all, we should have perfect peace of GOD, knowing that HE will provide for and take care of our every need, remembering that all things work together for GOOD to them that LOVE God, to them who are called according to his purpose! (Romans 8: 2
BE THANKFUL! We have so very much to be thankful to HIM for!
ALLOW the WORD OF GOD to DWELL within you RICHLY...
THIS IS THE BIBLE! GOD'S written WORD to man....
In all WISDOM. Where does WISDOM come from? From GOD. HIS WORD.
James 1: 5 says "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him."
Teaching, (instructing), and admonishing one another in Psalms, hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to THE LORD.
The BELIEVERS will talk to each other in love and encourage one another and sometimes offer some helpful instruction from the Word of GOD to help. Because our hearts are filled with the GOODNESS, Mercy, and grace of our GOD, we will naturally sing praises unto HIM!
Seriously folks, if you don't like singing praises to the Lord or THANKING HIM without ceasing for LIFE and for SALVATION through CHRIST, you will NOT LIKE HEAVEN.
THAT right there should help one to examine themselves and see whether they really are a CHILD of GOD or not.
Every child of GOD will be awestruck with GOD's MERCY, LOVE, and GRACE toward us and for HIS BELOVED SON JESUS CHRIST who loved us, and gave Himself for us willingly! Your heart should be filled of gratitude forever to HIM who sitteth upon the Throne forever! he made YOU in HIS own image. He gave you life and HE redeemed YOU back unto HIMSELF through the sacrificial offering of his own SON!
GOD loves us to SING praises to HIM and about JESUS!
It is a natural outpouring of JOY for what HE HAS DONE for us for ALL ETERNITY.
How old are you now? Think about this: After the first 1,000 years in heaven, you have not even gotten started with your everlasting life with GOD!
The believer lays down this mortal body in death and IMMEDIATELY HE is in HEAVEN, in GOD's Presence, seeing JESUS face to face and given a brand new BODY that will last an eternity.
Death is like walking through a doorway. We leave the room we are in and enter a new room as we pass through the doorway.
Is that how it will be for you???? Are you heaven bound?
Do you know for sure that CHRIST reigns in your heart and that you have asked him to forgive you of your sins, and to be your Lord and Savior of your soul?
If not, you need to. Then you can understand the JOY of the Believer of which I am writing...... and you can live with Jesus in Heaven for eternity!
