education is more an investment than an expense. it delivers the future income that funds people's retirement. high quality education produces high incomes yielding high taxes.

loans are a liability. they undermine choices young people make and saddle them with debt for decades.

we are the beneficiaries. our retirements are paid for by educated students. we shouldn't burden them with loans.

I've been 'supporting/taxes' the local schools (some of the best) for 45 years & counting. My youngest graduated 25 yrs ago.
Now, I don't have to pay as much as I have for 45 years, but I am still paying.

We have terrific colleges, no reason to leave the state for a very expensive one & expect others to foot the bill.

If they want the cream, let them pay the difference.

I'm a practical women, have always lived within my means. No credit card debt, ever, no mortgage & never refinanced.
I consider finding sales a form of hunting ;))
So don't ever expect me to support overspending when there's a better way with excellent results.
