hi clo,

or so hc wants us to think.

bernie's model allows the candy to be handed out. at the expense of the very rich.

free college is cheaper than the loan-based model which drives up prices. it is also a decent investment for taxpayers who want the young to fund (via tax) their retirements.

there's a benefit to parents taking leave for their children but i think the state should pay for it if it wants to insist upon such a programme. places an unfair burden on businesses.

he's talking about scandinavian norms. they seem to be doing very well for themselves, economically. so it is viable. but it fundamentally reconstructs us society. you don't have to live as a brutalist if you choose to expand the number of public goods. you go wrong only if you go too far.

Rand Paul has fallen off the radar. He's been too tentative recently.

I was listening to Bernie, he's handing out 'candy', talking about 12 weeks PAID leave for family situations, FREE college.
Who wouldn't want that ;))
Look at the crowds Bernie gets, nearly all 'white'.

There is NO WAY either Rand or Bernie will will the nominations from their parties. Thank goodness!
neither are electable in a general.
