chapter 3 and verses 23 and 24
And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.
And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.
GOD's commandment is that we should ALL believe on the name of the Son of GOD, JESUS CHRIST for there is no other name under heaven, given among men, whereby we MUST be saved. (from our sins and hell)
2 Pet. 3: 9 tells us that GOD IS NOT WILLING that any should perish (in hell) but that ALL should come to repentance". (by believing in Jesus Christ)
IF you have CHRIST in your heart, you will LOVE ONE ANOTHER naturally. You will desire to be around other believers who have Christ living in them and through them! This is what HEAVEN is all about folks.
If you don;t like to be around other believers, you better check on yourself because something is WRONG! YOU are not a child of GOD if you do not like to be around GOD's people. You are going to still be here and go through the tribulation when the Trumpet of God sounds and then there will be no more opportunities to be saved.
Hereby we KNOW we are HIS, because the SAME SPIRIT that dwells within one believer dwells within every single one of us and has fellowship one with another!
You can KNOW you have been redeemed by your desire to be around other believers. It is a tell tale indicator.
Don't put off asking Jesus to forgive you of your sins, to place your entire soul into HIS care and keeping, and ask HIM to come into your heart and save you before there is no time left.
He LOVES YOU! HE DIED FOR YOU! HE WANTS YOU to be SAVED and spend ETERNITY in Heaven and not in HELL.
Hell was prepared for the Devil and HIS angels. Not man. But because man sinned, man cannot enter into heaven into HIS presence. That sin must be paid for. It has a price. The only price that could satisfy your sin debt and mine was the HOLY and blood of the SON of GOD, which is why JESUS CHRIST, son of the Living GOD, got up off HIS ROYAL THRONE and LEFT HEaven to be born just like any other man, only his father was GOD so he was born without ADAM's sin, and he lived 33 years sinlessly and went to the CROSS willingly to be nailed and crucified and spill his DIVINE and HOLY blood for the redemption and payment of our sins to almighty God!
The sacrifice was accepted by GOD the FATHER.
Now ANY and ALL who call upon the name of Jesus to save them, shall be saved and they will dwell in Heaven with HIM forever!
Is your name written in the Lamb's Book of Life?
Do not put it off one more day! Today is the Day of salvation!
That Trumpet could sound at any moment. ALL scriptural prophecy has been fulfilled. ALL we are waiting for is the time appointed for the Trumpet to sound and we will be caught up in the clouds to meet HIM in the air, and so shall we ever be with the Lord!
Trust HIM as SAVIOR and LORD today before you die, are killed in a crash, hit by a car, have a heart attack, whatever... Once you are dead, there are no more opportunities.
