clo, we are covered up in windmills. The land owners are not getting much for the power generated. Why? There is so much power being generated that it cannot be used. The power is needed in Dallas, Austin, and other areas but the power lines to transport the electricity are not there. Someone finally woke up and the lines are being built. BTW, I hear that the average lifetime of a windmill is less than ten years. It cost more to build and rebuild windmills than the profit from them. The power companies are getting money from the government to be able to afford to build them. AND after 35 years the windmill becomes the property of the land owners who will have to pay to take them down.
