It's rather that or leave them in the desert for ISIS to take, or we could send the stuff to the small to medium size American cities so as to beef up their local police forces so that they're ready to react when some cop shoots another unarmed black kid.

In a significant move to deter possible Russian aggression in Europe, the Pentagon is drawing up plans to store battle tanks, infantry fighting vehicles and other heavy weapons for as many as 5,000 American troops in several Baltic and Eastern European countries, American and allied officials say.
