The Russians drove the Germans back because they got caught in winter instead of getting there 6 months earlier. That's because they had to fight and occupy Greece after the Greeks fought hard and beat the Italians back. Actually, Hitler allowed the Greek army to WALK HOME in honor of the way they fought. That diversion, though, cost him 6 months, and it meant he got to Russia in December, instead of summer.
That's HISTORY to you. As for the Americans and the Brits, they fought hard but not at home, that's why they had small casualties, but they fought just as hard as anyone else, and in multiple continents. Remember the Japanese?

Of the 70 million lost in WW2,30 odd million were on the
Russian front........the Russians had driven the Germans
back 500 miles by the end of the 1943-44 campaign before
any American had stepped foot on European soil....
You entered at the very end,suffered minimal losses
compared,& then claimed Victory......then you spent the
next 70 years making the real Victors over the Third Reich
your Arch Enemy!??......There is nothing Exceptional about that.
& i forgot.....under Operation Paperclip you then welcomed all
the Nazi's into your country........lol!
