unlike nearly every football fan, i don't really want to see major transfer activity this summer. i like my team. i want to see how it does next year, hopefully with fewer injuries.
i can see the need for a world class goalie. i can see the need for another defensive midfielder. otherwise, no one that is likely to be for sale and/or that arsenal can afford looks any better than the folks we have.
i want to see walcott given a chance upfront, alternating with giroud. i like wilshire in the mix of the attacking midfield three, along with ox, ozil, welbeck, rosicky and sanchez. i like ramsey and cazorla in the box-to-box role. i like coquelin and arteta. i like all of our backs.
and the youngsters that i've seen coming through look very good indeed. akpom, gnabry, zelalem, bellerin.
the only people i might replace are diaby, flamini and a goalie. diaby because you have to give up on his body at some point, flamini because he isn't big enough to dominate and a goalie who is both tall and reliable.
