okay. i missed that. sorry.

interesting choice of Big Brother vs Global Policeman! the NSA is almost the definition of Big Brother.

no one i know demands that the us must act as global Big Brother. it is a choice the us made for itself. the us demanded that role in the post-war era towards the end of ww2. it thought it delivered a huge advantage to the us.

us imperium exists. it is just conveyed more subtly than previous empires. but it costs money as all empires do!

Take note, when I end a sentence with ... its my ways of showing sarcasm.

I resent when others expect the US to be the global Big Brother. Means We are footing the expense, or the biggest chunk of it.
and, we are not appreciated when we do.
