Hard to see how Iraq survives more or less as it was. Seems those Middle East countries all descend into utter chaos once a despot falls.

Especially the ones with straight line borders.

as a single country?

looks to me like a sunni state is emerging between syria and iraq, even if isis is in charge.

a kurdish state has more-or-less emerged.

and the iranian/shia area is a third nation in formation.

so much for polyglot liberalism in the middle east.
