192 ARRESTED IN WACO BIKER GANG SHOOTOUT

Waco, Texas police said they arrested as many as 192 people linked to biker gangs after a shootout between the Bandidos and Cossacks motorcycle gangs left nine people dead and 18 others injured. Waco cops, state troopers, as well as law-enforcement officers from several nearby cities surrounded the Twin Peaks restaurant after several people were reported shot during the fight, said Waco Police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton. Officials recovered more than 100 weapons from the restaurant and several vehicles reportedly had bullet holes in them. Swanton said no officers or civilians were injured. As of early Monday, police were working to ensure there was no risk of additional retaliation by bike-gang members in the Waco area. Capital murder charges are said to be pending.
