Democrats have been funding "The Dork Dynasty" for years. A tax break isn't a subsidy.

‘Duck Dynasty’ Keeps Tax Break as Bobby Jindal Cuts Louisiana Colleges

http://www.bloomberg.com/politics/articles/2015-05-04/-duck-dynasty-keeps-tax-break-as-jindal-cuts-louisiana-colleges

BTW the Robertson family, who are the stars of 'Duck Dynasty', own the production company that produces the show and were multimillionaires before the show went on the air and have become even richer since the State of Louisiana started to subsidize their operation to the tune of several million dollars per year. And now Jindal says that since he made a promise when he was elected governor to never raise taxes, in his mind, reducing the tax breaks given to the Robinson's production company would be the same as 'raising taxes' so he feels he's obligated to continue providing them their annual multimillion dollar 'subsidy' despite the fact that they don't really need the money. So now Jindal is threatening to cut funding for the states' s colleges to make-up for the budget short-fall the state is going to see later this year.

Just another sample of what life is like in your typical GOP utopia.
