...I haven't figured out what the cops will do yet. I believe their own interest would be best served if they took care of their own safety, their own careers and their own families. The public doesn't want cops anymore, they want social workers. Be a social worker. A lot of cops have been fired for doing too much, but there has never been a cop fired for not doing anything at all.
...one thing I am a bit curious about is why did they take what is arguably the most important case to come along in awhile and hand it off to someone who has only been on the job for four months? Is this case a hot potato? Is it weak? I dunno cause I havent' seen all the evidence. If it was a clear cut slam dunk somebody in the DA's office who would see this as a career enhancer if they won would have taken it and she would be fetching coffee and running the copying machine. That's how the Good Old Boy network works.
...it's going to be interesting to watch.
