Proverbs 10:29-30 (KJV)
The way of the LORD is strength to the upright: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity.
The righteous shall never be removed: but the wicked shall not inhabit the earth.
This should be a frightening statement to ANY that do not belong to GOD! Not only will NONE be admitted into HIS HEAVEN that are not HIS, but also NONE will be permitted to live on earth either that are not HIS either.
So, where will they be???
At the end of the thousand year Millennial Reign, the GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGMENT will take place where all the LOST people of all the ages will be summoned to appear before ALMIGHTY GOD and Judged.
WHAT will they be Judged on?
Whether they ever accepted Jesus Christ as Savior and asked HIM into their hearts as LORD and Savior. That would make them a CHILD of GOD and Heir and JOINT heir with CHRIST!
The BOOK of LIFE is opened and their name is not there. They are bound hand and foot and tossed into the lake of fire which burns forever and ever, yet those who cast into it never die. They are in eternal torment because they willingly REJECTED the SON of the LIVING GOD!
The BIBLE says it is a TERRIBLE THING to FALL INTO THE HANDS of AN ANGRY GOD!
Indeed it is. He is able to destroy not only your body, but your very soul as well. HIM it is we ought to fear. Our soul will live forever. The body is corrupt with sin and will be replaced before we can go into heaven anyway, and GOD will provide us a new one that will last all of eternity.
This is a sobering passage of scripture.....
