ZTE TRIAL
Closing arguments I believe a much much better job was done by the IDCC ATTORNEY! His comments to the jurors were to use their common sense in reaching their conclusions. ZTE'S closing argument was that because a message is sent at a different time on the LTE system it becomes different channels our attorney showed a drawing of two boxes and 3 slots were colored in the first box at a certain frequency in the second box the same 3 slots were colored in and the same frequency was used, our conclusion was it still remains the same channel! He then gave a very good comparison, if you are watching a show on channel 5 at 10:00pm shut the TV off next morning you wake up turn the TV on the program is different but it is still channel 5! Our then explained to the jury the only point ZTE & IDCC didn't agree on was the different channel theory! Based on my common sense approach and told to adhere to the judges claim construction THE DOWNLINK & UPLINK ARE DONE ON THE SAME CHANNEL, JMO I'M LEANING TO IDCC TO WIN! JMO
