Tomorrow morning I'm flying to Chicago and then driving up to the UP of Michigan to my alma mater for three days of events at the university. This is part of my annual trek there during a week where the schools of Mechanical Engineering and Technology are holding student engineering contests. These classes all use our software in the curiculum and I'm one of the judges, representing our company. I return home on Friday. While there I will have a chance to see my brother and his wife (he's the one who recently retired from the Army National Guard after doing two tours in Vietnam back in the 60's and one tour in Iraq a few years ago). He and his wife own an arts & crafts store including a photo studio up in L'Anse, MI, right on Lake Superior.
Note that they're predicting snow for most of the time that I'm going to be there.
