3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
The LAW could not keep us from sin nor could we keep it to be righteous in God's eyes.
We are made righteous to GOD because JESUS fulfilled ALL the LAW perfectly in his own body and life, and sacrificed HIMSELF, shed HIS own HOLY BLOOD as payment of all of our sins, and then conquered death and the grave by rising again on the third day according to the scriptures, was seen by THOUSANDS, and was seen ascending up to Heaven by hundreds.
He WRAPS every single person who by FAITH comes to HIM as their savior is HIS OWN RIGHTEOUSNESS so that GOD the FATHER sees us wrapped in Jesus' Righteousness and accepts us!!!!
The JUSTICE of GOD has been satisfied and the penalty for SIN has been paid in full by JESUS CHRIST....
