Perhaps, but it was true that it was the Bush people who had put the deal together, did the due diligence and made the recommendations for the backing of the loans that were made to Solyndra. Granted, the loans were not actually granted until after Obama took office, but the deal was already in the pipeline and while I guess Obama could have stopped it, at the time there was no reason to think the Bush people had been derelict in their duties properly vetting the deal, which apparently they did not do. As for Obama taking the credit, well we do elect politicians in this country, don't we? What did you expect him to do? If the roles had been reversed, Bush would have been there touting the virtues of the deal in just as loud a voice. That's what politicians do, all of them, period.
