Enron only started to mess with our electric rates here in California AFTER Bush took office and he put his own lackeys on the FERC board. They basically refused to do their job when it came to regulating energy rates which was what they were appointed to do.

Yea, right up until they crashed and burned and took 99% of their employee's pension funds with them, but not before they had screwed over millions of Californians with illegally manipulated charges on their electric bills, which happened while Dubya

...ENRON was prosecuted during the Bush administration but the corruption happened under slick willy including the last six years of his administration where they paid no taxes whatsoever. It was the age of Trickle Down Sleaze.
