BTW, they're putting the finishing touches on that new welfare bill in Kansas and they've just about finished that list of things that you can't spend your food stamps on. Now the cruise ship restriction is still there along with a few additional NO-NO's, like no fancy underwear or lingerie, no movies, no video games, etc. When one of the co-sponsors of the bill was asked, since it was not mentioned anywhere, as to whether Food Stamp recipients could use their payments to buy guns and ammo, he said of course they could since that's a right that you can't take aware from even welfare recipients and if that's how they want to spend their measly allowances who's he to say that they can't. Besides, he said that since the Food Stamps wouldn't buy a lot of food for a family, the guns could always be used for hunting so as to supplement their diet with fresh game. Yea, like the those people living in some run-down tenement in Topeka or Wichita will be thinking about going hunting to put food on the table.
