5 For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.

By the way, NO MAN ever was able to keep the LAW.

SO, why did we have it then?

To show us that we are unable to keep the commands and laws of GOD by ourselves. We are a sinful people incapable of leading sinless lives. The LAW was a SCHOOLMASTER to teach that very point.

Because nobody could keep it, offerings had to made continually for the sins of the people.

In the Book Of Hebrews in Chapters 9 and 10, we are given the greatest verses about this. JESUS became that OFFERING for ALL the SINS of ALL the PEOPLE who ever lived and will live and HIS offering of HIS OWN SELF, DEITY, PERFECTION, SINLESS SON OF GOD, DIVINE, is so powerful, it is SUFFICIENT to forgive, cleanse and wash away all our sins ONCE FOR ALL......
CHrist's sacrifice only needed to be made ONE TIME for all the sins of the entire HUMAN race!

ONCE FOR ALL is the THEME and BATTLECRY of all believers found in these two great chapters of the book of Hebrews.

Isn't it amazing how that all the different writings in all these books all refer to one another throughout the entire Bible????
