under ffp they have totally screwed up. they have bought expensive, experienced players whose value has depreciated while playing for city. younger players are more expensive and hard to get (witness liverpool's response re sterling and arsenal's re wilshire).

to replace their team, they'll have to cheat the financials, or they will not be able to replace mature players with their young equals.
